In the world of poker, people will instantly recognize the formidable teams of the Full Tilt and PokerStars. However, with the Asian Poker Tournament being held in Macau this coming August 12 to 15, the team Poker Pack will have a chance to show their skills to the whole world. The Poker Pack is composed of six Asian elite poker players who had made a mark in the World Poker Tournaments and are trying to spread the APT in Asia much the same way as their counterparts in the United States.
The Poker Pack team is very much recognized in the world of poker. Heading this team is J.C Tran who had carved his name in the list of best poker players in the world by winning some tournaments in the United States. Gaining two World Series of Poker bracelets as well as winning in the World Poker tournament, J.C. Tran impressed millions of people with his skills in the game and has been recognized as one of the best players today. His winnings during his entire career are a total of $7.8 million and with the coming APT tournament his winnings may just increase.
The second member of the team is Nam Le from Vietnam who is notorious in the game of No Limit tournament. He is known to study his opponents' moves very well thus earning him more or less $5 million in just a short time. Nam Le won the Asian Pacific Poker Tournament in 2008 and has since then been considered as a threat to any competition.
Steve «MuGGyLiCious» Sung and Quinn Do are also part of the notorious Poker Pack. These two poker players may have not experienced the same air time as their first two team mates; they had still proven their skill in poker by surviving the WSOP tournament.
David «Chino» Rheem is possibly the most recognized member of the Poker Pack. His win in last year's WSOP tournament gave him the title of a player to reckon with especially when he won the Doyle Brunson Five Diamonds World Poker Classic prize of $15,000. Kwan Soo Lee, the last member of the group, has yet to make a statement in the poker tournaments. Formerly known as a champion in the game of StarCraft, Soo Lee still knows his game of poker and has more pressure on him as to whether he can survive his team.
