Inside Deal by PokerStars.net and ESPN

Online poker is the most in-demand online casino game today all over the world.  While poker has always been one of the most popular card games in casinos, its emergence on the internet catapulted its popularity to even greater heights.

This is perhaps why you will find new poker sites coming out on the internet every once in awhile.  A lot more casino operators are developing their own websites to be able to reach even more people.  This is good news to poker lovers worldwide because they have a more convenient means to play their favorite card game.

THE INSIDE DEAL

Through a partnership between leading poker website PokerStars.net and huge sports channel ESPN; Inside Deal promises to be the biggest show on the internet that focuses on poker.

No less than Laura Lane will be hosting the show; she, who has played reporter to several magazines and hosted MTV News; has also become a poker enthusiast; thus making her the perfect choice to host the upcoming show.  Incidentally, Inside Deal will only be seen via the internet courtesy of the PokerStars.net website.  Since the internet can reach an even wider audience, this will be a great build up to online poker.

Inside Deal can soon be viewed online — in the early weeks of August thereabouts.  It was conceptualized as being somewhat of a prelude to the upcoming World Series of Poker tournament happening some time in November.  The show aims to promote the WSOP tourney, among other things related to poker.

WHAT'S INSIDE THE INSIDE DEAL

As mentioned, Inside Deal will touch on things related to poker.  This includes famous poker players showing how they live away from the spotlight and the events that led to their turning professional poker players.

To make the show even more exciting to its viewers — whether they are poker enthusiasts or random surfers — Inside Deal will be an interactive show wherein viewers can participate in the discussions via Twitter and other social networking sites.

There might also be games especially dedicated to viewers to add more elements of entertainment and motivate poker lovers to join in the excitement.  The 3-month stint of the show will likewise include segments from this year's World Series of Poker tourney, particularly the final players competing for the top prize.

This is a first for online poker and hopefully, poker aficionados will appreciate the efforts of PokerStars.net and ESPN to provide more poker entertainment via the internet.
