Professional Poker Players Still Seeking the WSOP Bracelet

While there are plenty of professional poker players that have won at least one World Series of Poker Bracelet, there are just as many that have not.  Winners of the WSOP bracelet include pros like Doyle Brunson, Bobby Baldwin, Hal Fowler, Stu Ungar, Jack Straus, Tom McEvoy, Jack Keller, Bill Smith, Berry Johnston, Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth Jr, Mansour Matloubi, Brad Daugherty, and Jim Bechtel.  Additional winners include Russ Hamilton, Dan Harrigan, Huck Seed, Scotty Nguyen, Noel Furlong, Chris Ferguson, Juan Carlos Mortensen, Robert Varkonyi, Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem, Jamie Gold, Jerry Yang, and Peter Eastgate.

Winners have been receiving a bracelet along with monetary winnings from the WSOP tournament since 1976 when Doyle Brunson won the tournament; a winner who has earned himself as many as ten of the coveted WSOP bracelets.  The only other person that has won more bracelets than Brunson is Phil Hellmuth who has taken home eleven of the WSOP bracelets.  Johnny Chan has also won ten WSOP bracelets, Johnny Moss has won nine, and Erik Seidel has won eight thus far.  Yet, what of the players that have won huge amounts of cash but have not brought home a WSOP bracelet?  What pros still have yet to get their hands on the coveted WSOP bracelet?

Gus Hansen is one pro card player that has as many as five money finishes in the WSOP, but has not gotten a WSOP bracelet yet.  This player has won more than seven million dollars in tournaments over his professional playing career and has pulled in some big wins in the World Poker Tour, but still awaits the day he earns the WSOP bracelet.  Micheal Mizrachi has a similar story to tell: this poker player has more than nineteen money finishes in the WSOP, but no bracelet to boast of, even after winning more than six million dollars in his tournament plays.

As of this date, Patrik Antonius has a total of twelve WSOP money finishes without a bracelet win.  He presently holds one European Poker Tour Title, but has yet to win the big win in the World Poker Tour or the WSOP.  Andy Bloch holds down twenty money finishes in the WSOP, but has yet to get that bracelet.  Other players that continue to long for the pricey and prestigious bracelet include Marcel Luske with nineteen WSOP money finishes, and Tony G, otherwise known as Antanas Guoga who has managed thirteen WSOP money finishes.  In addition, there is Alan Goehring with six WSOP money finishes; Phil Gordon with sixteen money finishes in the WSOP and Tuan Le with a single money finish in the WSOP.
