Full Tilt responded to the allegations thrown at them by two of their players by throwing the accusation right back at the players.
With two sides to every story, especially when it comes to a big accusation like using bots, time and a lot of investigations can only tell which of the two sides is telling the truth.
The Players Versus the Online Casino
Full Tilt confiscated $80,000 from two of their players, Larry Kennedy and Greg Omotoy, on the grounds that, after intensive investigations done on the online casino's part, the two violated the terms and conditions of Full Tilt by creating multiple accounts and using bots to gain advantage over the other players and the house itself. In an answer to Full Tilt Poker's Face the Ace, a poker series by the said poker site in cooperation with NBC, PokerStars has made known to the public that it is going to show its own poker series, which will be shown on Fox. This is a show they call PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge.
A Quick View on PokerStars' Million Dollar Challenge
The plot of the series is simple enough where qualifiers to the poker series get to receive coaching lessons from Daniel Negreanu as the qualifier battles it out with some of the top poker players of Team PokerStars, some of which are Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer. Those who have qualified to get into the final event will attempt to beat his poker coach, Negreanu himself, the only pro poker player who is going to stand between the qualifier and the million dollars.
This poker show is said to air this coming October 11, 2009 on Fox with a tentative timeslot of 4 p.m., but this schedule is still very much tentative because of Fox's coverage of the regional NFL, which will begin airing on the end of September. [Read][more...]

With recession creeping up on every corner, you really have to be wary in choosing the online casino where you will be playing at. But because many players first look at the bonuses being offered by the casinos before they register, they oftentimes get hoodwinked into signing up only to find out that the requirements needed to get a hold of the promised bonus are much to steep.
One of the casinos that offer a deceitful signup bonus is the Full Tilt Poker.
100% Match-Up or $100 Signup Bonus
It really does sound good to hear that when you deposit your $100 in Full Tilt Poker, you get to receive $100 as a signup bonus in return, right? Not if you did not read Full Tilt Poker's fine print first.
Of course, you will receive your 100% match-up bonus that Full Tilt Poker promises its new members, but what they did not tell you in large print is that you are going to get it incrementally. Aside from this, the poker site has also failed to mention in large print that you still have to play several hands before you get your hands on your signup bonus. [Read][more...]

Allen Carter, otherwise referred to as AawwNutz, has been officially signed by none other than Ultimate Bet. This move came shortly after Carter's one million dollar win at the WPT Southern Poker Championship hosted at Biloxi's Beau Rivage Resort/Casino in Mississippi. Of course, this latest win for Carter certainly was not his first; this super poker player won some 45 thousand from Ultimate Bet back in June 2008 after entering their tournament offering. Also winning big at Full Tilt Poker, Carter took home 15,000 from his entry in the $50,000.00 Guaranteed Full Tilt Poker game after winning third place.
The position that Allen Carter will officially have at Ultimate Bet has not been revealed at this present time. Allen Carter will be joining ranks with some of the top pro card players in the business today including folks like Dave Stann, Tiffany Michelle, and Tracy Scala, James Campbell, as well as Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke. Phil Hellmouth has won the World Series of Poker Tournament a total of eleven times since 1989, and Annie Duke has made a name for herself having managed to rake in over three million in tournament play winnings, as well as winning a WSOP bracelet.
