Wildcats Baseball Team to Benefit from a Poker Tournament

Are you a fan of the Wildcats baseball team?  If you are, then you better mark October 15 on your calendars as this is your time to help your favorite team.  You only have to have two things with you — money and your poker skills.

Date and Time

October 15, 2009, Thursday, is going to be the date of the annual poker tournament that benefits the Wildcats baseball team.  The said poker tournament will be held at the Peppermill Hotel Casino in Reno, Las Vegas.  Registration starts at 6 o'clock in the evening in conjunction with a complementary cocktail hour.  The tourney will start at exactly 7 o'clock in the evening until 11 o'clock of the same day.

The buy-in fee is only $200, and the game is a No Limit Texas Hold'Em poker tournament in which the blinds are set to increase every 20 minutes.

There are ten prizes that can be won all in all, but the grand prize is a free membership for one year at the Red Hawk Golf Course, the value of which is $4,000.

All proceeds will go directly to the Wildcats baseball team, so if you are an avid fan of this baseball team as well as a good poker player, then this is a good time to hone your skills, take home the prize, and get to help your favorite team at the same time.
