WSOP Europe Starts in Two Weeks

Who says that the World Series of Poker is for Las Vegas, USA only?
Ten days from now, London is going to be the host city of the WSOP Europe this coming September 17. The organizers of WSOP Europe are positive that their major poker series is going to attract poker pros from all over the world to compete for the major prize. In fact, WSOP Europe is now accepting buy-in fees from poker players, and there is a good feeling that the said event is going to see some 1,700 players or more.
A Very Busy Schedule Ahead
The WSOP Europe is going to start this September 17, and the Main Event, which is a six-day event, will start on the 26 of September.
On September 17, the WSOP Europe will begin with the $1,000,000 freeroll wherein the top 18 qualifiers who won qualifier seats in Betfair's poker room will compete for the guaranteed prize money.
September 18 is the start of the series of open events wherein competitors will play at the £1,000 buy-in No Limit Hold'Em tourney, which is actually the first open event of WSOP Europe. The open events will end on September 24, which is the fourth event of the said series, as the next day opens to a special event.
September 25 will give you a special event, the Caesars Cup, which is a one-day tourney wherein the participants of the Caesars Cup got in via a special invitation. This year's theme is a Europe versus America theme, so you really can expect a lot of action here as the best poker players of both worlds meet up to test their skills against each other.
The Main Event
As expected, the Main Event of WSOP Europe is a £10,000 buy-in fee No Limit Texas Hold'Em tourney. This Main Event will start on September 26 and will run for six days. As stated above, their main event is going to match that of the WSOP US' main event where you get to see poker pros at their best, so you can expect the same level, if not the same enthusiasm and thrill, than that of its American counterpart.
WSOP US' November Nine are going to compete this coming November, so this gives the WSOP Europe the spotlight for more than two weeks.
Buy-ins for the WSOP Europe are now being allowed, so check it out and grab a seat before the said event takes place.
